Trouble with Windows Vista!

For a year I have struggled to work with Vista. Programs freeze, my hard disk locks up etc. I spend at least (no exaggeration) 30 minutes per day fixing issues with my computer.

My computer is just over a year old. Plenty of memory and power. No, this is a Vista problem.

I can't degrade from VIsta back to Windows XP (although that wouldn't be degradation but liberation) because it's too complicated. So I have turned off all of the cool graphic features of Vista so that I have some basic functionality. Now my computer is running 'slightly' faster and my operating environment resembles Windows 98.

Sad. 

I have been a loyal Windows customer for many years. But this is too much. Macs will be on sale tomorrow. I just might...

Computer Problems

Part of the reason you haven't heard from me lately is that I've had a bevy of technical issues going on with all of my computers. My Lenovo, affectioanately my 'Lorenzo' bit the dust Friday and I wasn't able to get it going until Satruday evening.

And then my wife's computer died and so now I've been messing with it.

Lorenzo is doing well. This old Dell Laptop that my wife uses is on it's last legs.

I may--dare I admit--buy a Mac

So I am seriously thinking about buying a Mac. I am currently using a Lenovo that I've owned since last Fall. I am running Windows Vista which has been, I am sorry to admit, terribly buggy. Not a day goes by that I don't have to shut down a program and restart my computer.

And then the other day--I sent an email to Tommy. The only problem is that my computer sent the email over 10 times?
